Our Story

I moved to Chicago almost six years ago and immediately recognized how special this city is. That first summer I created a small Spotify playlist that I called "Summertime Chi" and used it to share music that reminded me of long lake walks and late patio hangs with friends.

Since that first summer Chicago has become home to me and I've had a chance to know the city more deeply as well as the amazing humans who live here. Chicagoans are a special group of people who have a "we're in it together" attitude.

The Summertime Chi State of Mind has become more clear to me, and I wanted a way to recognize and celebrate that feeling. SummertimeChi.shop was founded to fill that gap and provide some apparel that people can be proud of.

This has been a fun journey and I want to thank my incredible friends for all the support and help with this project - from modeling in photos to giving advice on ideas and everything in between. I, along with SummertimeChi.shop, would not be here without you.
